Quitman High School will be hosting a baseball camp on Saturday, November 20, from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Anyone ages 5-12 is welcome to attend.
Those who attend will learn more about hitting, catching, throwing, fielding, and pitching from various instructors. Quitman’s head coach Eric Johnson is thrilled about the community involved event and is bringing in an amazing staff to work with all the kids who attend.
“We are looking forward to having a great camp to help our future baseball players the fundamentals of baseball to help them achieve success wherever they may play this spring,” announced Coach Johnson. “This is another great community event that we here at Panther Baseball believe is important to the development of our young kids. Anytime we can do something to help in this great community, we are always excited. We will also have a pro player or two in helping out with this camp. We look forward to this and hope to see everyone attend. Thank you to everyone for supporting Panthers Baseball.”
A concession stand will be available throughout the day. Those who are attending will need to bring cleats, bats, and a baseball glove. All campers will be provided a t-shirt for the event.
There is a $40 entry fee, and the deadline to sign up for the camp is Wednesday, November 17. All checks can be made out to QHS Diamond Booster Club. Guardians must sign a camper disclosure form.
