Some Clarke County 4-H members will be attending the Mississippi State Fair to show their livestock and participate in a Cookoff Contest from October 7 – 11 and October 13 – 17.
The following will be showing on October 7 – 11:
Jackson King – lamb
Paige Hagwood – steer and commercial heifer
Malorie Hagwood – steer and commercial heifer
Hayden Butler – beef breeding and commercial heifer
Anna Davis – steer and commercial heifer
Jesse Miller – steer and commercial heifer
Gus Bentley – steer and commercial heifer
These 4-Hers will be showing market goats on October 13-17: Jackson King, Hayden Butler, Anna Davis, Jesse Miller, Gus Bentley, Madison Taormina, Abraham Smith, and Aubrey Waddell.
Along with showing animals, Jackson King and Anna Davis will participate in the MS Beef Cookoff Contest on 4-H Day at the MS State Fair on October 15. Both contestants will be grilling ribeye steaks for the event.
