At 7:30 p.m. on May 27, first responders were called to the scene of a fatal wreck on County Road 375.
“We responded to a call at 7:30 on Clarke County’s end of Dunn’s Fall Road,” explained Chief Deputy Barry White. “Somehow, the driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed. The driver died on the scene, and the passenger was flown to university.”
According to Facebook posts by the family, Raeleigh McCree was killed in the accident. Raeleigh was a beautiful 14 year old who attended school at Enterprise. She was the daughter of Brett and Darla McCree.
The family held her visitation and graveside service on Sunday. No updates were available on the passenger.
Raeleigh Amanda McRee
Raeleigh Amanda McRee, 14, of Stonewall, Mississippi, passed away on May 27, 2021, in Enterprise, Mississippi. She was born on October 24, 2006, to Brett and Darla (Underwood) McRee in Meridian, MS.
Raeleigh is survived by her father, Brett McRee; brother, Brian (Kylie) Underwood; sisters, Sara (Michael) Alexander and Amy Norris; two nieces; and one nephew.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Darla Underwood McRee; grandparents, Sara and Billy Underwood; and sister, Savannah Norris.
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 30, 2021, 2:00 p.m. at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman.
Graveside services were held on Sunday, May 30, 2021, 3:00 p.m. at the Odd Fellows Cemetery with Rev. Dennis Coats officiating. Burial took place in the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Michael Alexander, Justin Dearman, Lance Matthews, Brian Underwood, Dan Kuder, and Scott McRee.
