The Christian News was approved by the Clarke County Board of Supervisors to be archived and kept in the Chancery Clerk’s office in the courthouse. The books have now been bound and placed alongside other past and present newspapers published in the county.
This permanent home placement for the paper was under the direction of Dorothy K. Bartee, and others, including Pastor A.L. Johnson, Pastor Washington McKenzie Jr., Sherry Pickens and Sheila McMillan, who presented the motion to the Board which was voted and carried on March 15, 2021.
