With the approach of Halloween, towns and different organizations are already making plans for trick or treating. While there are still some that are being arranged, the following schedules have already been announced:
Clarke County Emergency Management Candy Crawl – The Annual EMA Candy Crawl will take place on West Church Street in Quitman (also known as Back Street) from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. on October 24.
Town of Stonewall – Trick or treating will be from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 31. There will also be trunk or treating available at Stonewall Town Hall, and anyone is welcome to come set up there.
Town of Shubuta – There will be a Fall Festival/Trunk or Treating in the downtown area from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on October 31.
Town of Pachuta – There will be trick or treating from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on October 31.
Clarke County Baptist Center – There will be trunk or treating and games from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on October 31.
Any organizations that will host a fall festival or trunk or treating can send information to bmangum@clarkecountytrib.com to be included.
