Creature Comforts Animal Shelter is proud to announce they have received the 2022 Kia Pet Adoption Grant through the Petfinder Foundation. This will aid the community with a low-cost adoption fee.
“We are so excited to be able to help the community by lowering adoption costs,” stated President Jennifer Bozeman. “We have about 25 cats/kitten and more waiting to come in. We have to get them moving out. This is a great cost for all that you are getting.”
Creature Comforts will hold a special adoption fee on all cats/kittens beginning Friday, August 12, and will last until the grant is used up. Adoption fee for all cats/kittens is lowered to $50. This fee will include spay/neuter, rabies, and vaccines. “You just cannot beat this deal!” stated Bozeman. “Just spaying or neutering your cats cost more than this, and you are getting an animal with vaccines and rabies shots which are required by law in Mississippi. On top of that, no extra babies!”

The shelter is located at 400 South Railroad Avenue in Quitman. (Turn beside First State Bank and go across the railroad tracks.) Hours are 9-11 and 4-6 Tuesday-Saturday. 601-557-5058.
