What’s better than puppies and football? Helping out the local animal shelter while watching the Super Bowl, of course!
This year, Creature Comforts is hosting their first ever Pupper Bowl, an online squares contest, to help raise funds for the shelter.
The rules of the game are simple. Just pick a square and pay for the number of squares picked. Then, just sit back and enjoy watching some football. Squares are $10 per entry, and the amount must be paid within two hours of claiming a spot.
Once the boxes are accounted for and the axis numbers are drawn, the winning box is determined by the single digit of each team in the event being played. For instance, if the score for the game is 14 – 27, the single digit for each team would be 4 and 7. The box with the coordinates (4,7) would be the winning box at that time.
Awards will be granted at the end of the first, second and third quarters, and an overall winner will be determined at the end of the fourth quarter. Payouts for the winning spots are as follows: $100 each for first, second, and third quarter, and $200 for the final score of the regular game. There are no overtime payouts.
