At approximately 2:25 p.m. on August 29, my office contacted the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation in reference to the death of a female Clarke County inmate. She was found to be unresponsive by correctional officers and emergency medical services were contacted immediately. It appears her death was due to natural causes.
