Enterprise Baptist Church is thrilled to have Delnora Acuff performing at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 2.
“It is rare that we get someone like this to come to our area to perform. We are very excited!” proclaimed Tim Herrington with Enterprise Baptist Church. “Delnora has performed a couple of times at the Jimmy Rodgers Festival in Meridian.”
Delnora has seen great success since she first started performing. Within a few months of performing in Nashville, the individuals who guided the careers of major singers such as Kenny Chesney, Alabama, and more provided her with development deals with Dreamworks/Universal and then RCA. She eventually became a member of the duo Blue Eyed Grass with Jayron Weaver, and they ended up releasing three albums.
All the experiences she had performing and writing songs brought her to all of the “positive country” songs she sings today, consisting of a unique blend of roots, country, folk, Americana, and bluegrass. Her songs are family friendly and focus more on lighter topics.
She has won multiple awards, including New Artist of the Year, Inspirational Song of the Year, and Music Video of the Year.
Different singles that she co-wrote have been #1 hits on a variety of platforms, including Cashbox Magazine, Steve Roberson’s Christian Country Music Countdown, PowerSource, and Christian Voice and Christian Music Weekly.
She debuted her song “My Own Way” at the Inspirational Country Music Awards on the Grand Ole Opry stage. She also managed to be named Favorite Country Gospel Soloist at the Gospel Music Fan Awards and had multiple nominations and a win at the Holiday Music & Film Awards for her Christmas releases.
She was declared the 2026 Female Vocalist of the Year at the 30th Annual ICMA Awards at the Grand Ole Opry, and her single “Looking for the Light” premiered on the legendary radio home of the Opry, WSM, later that same week.
Now, she is coming to perform at Enterprise Baptist Church for all to enjoy. There is plenty of room in the newly built sanctuary, and they would love to have a packed house.
