Clarke County is full of beautiful young ladies, and two of the smallest beauties have made some amazing accomplishments competing in various pageants: Darci Denham and Kensington Burford.
Darci Denham
Darci Denham is the two-year-old daughter of Brad and Noel Denham and is the current 2022 OLM Mississippi Baby Petite, which is a title she proudly shares with another Clarke County resident. While participating in that state pageant, she won multiple titles. Along with Mississippi Baby Petite, she won prettiest hair and Mississippi’s Living Doll for 0-2.
She competed in her first Our Little Miss preliminary pageant in March and successfully won prettiest hair, best overall personality, and Queen in her age division.
In July she will be attending a pageant in Washington D.C. to compete for a world title. She will experience meeting and competing with other girls from the United States as well as other countries.
Her family is proud of Darci and the accomplishments she has already made in her pageants and look forward to seeing her progress in the years to come.
Kensington Burford
At only 14 months old, Kensington Burford, daughter of Kari Carmichael and Cameron Burford, already has a great deal of experience with pageants.
She has participated in multiple pageants and won a variety of titles since participating in her first Our Little Miss preliminary pageant in Meridian when she was only four months old. At that pageant, she won overall best smile, best dressed, most photogenic, and Universal Beauty 0-2.
Kensington has also participated in “Winners Circle” at the Our Little Miss preliminary in Collinsville for practice. She later competed at the state level where she won prettiest eyes, Living Doll first alternate, and she is the current holder of the state title as 2021 Mississippi’s Universal Beauty 0-2. She will finish her time as Mississippi’s Universal Beauty 0-2 in October and will crown her successor as well as receive a scholarship.
In January, she competed at the world level in Houston, Texas. She placed ninth in the Our Little Miss World’s Universal Beauty pageant.
She has competed in various other competitions for practice as well and achieved multiple titles at them. Recently, she competed in Miss Sassy Summer and won divisional queen, people’s choice, and prettiest eyes.
Along with her experience competing in the pageants, Kensington is a Crowns for a Cause ambassador and has collected over 200 boxes of bandaids for Children’s Miracle Network hospitals.
Her family is proud of her and her accomplishments so far and look forward to seeing what she will continue to do as she grows.
