Dorothy Joan Lewis, 92, of Pachuta, Mississippi, passed away on June 29, 2026, at her residence.
She was born on March 24, 1934, to Charles and Zelda (Cox) Johnson in Decatur, MS.
Dorothy is survived by her son, Charles Lewis; grandson, Chad Lewis; great-granddaughter, Anna Lewis; and sister, Jean Porter.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Johnson; mother, Zelda Johnson; husband, Brooks Avery Lewis, Jr.; and son, Larry Lee Lewis.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, July 3, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Pachuta Cemetery with Rev. Keith Bogan officiating.
Burial will take place in the Pachuta Cemetery.
