We the members of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemoration Committee would like to extend a warm heartfelt thank you to Pastor Cornelius McDonald, Pearlie Grove Baptist Church Deacons, members, along with Mr. Nicholas Brooks, Senator Rod Hickman, Ms. Tyneisha Jackson, Pastor Advial McKenzie, Ms. Rhianna Price, Mr. Jeremiah Price and group, Pastor Lawrence Kirksey, Judge Tobey Bartee, Pastor Tommie Ruffin, Min. Sharon McClendon, Pastor Olivia Jones, the Walkers, Community, Quitman City Police (escort), Quitman City Board of Aldermen, and the Mayor of Quitman. The Commemoration service was awesome, and Senator Hickman brought the house down by letting God use him in a mighty way. The older folks would say "What a time! What a time!"
