The 2024 Clarke County Distinguished Young Woman Program will be held Saturday, February 4, 2023, at 7 p.m. at the Quitman High School Auditorium. Seven young women will compete for the title of Distinguished Young Woman. Contestants this year include Nykeria “Patti” Watson, Jayla Jones, Anna Grace Culbreth, Da’Quasha Barnett, and Damayia Nicholson of Quitman High School; and Madelyn “Maddie” Davis and Ava Parker of Enterprise High School.
Angie Boatner will be back this year to emcee the event. Angie is a longtime supporter of the Junior Miss and DYW Program, having represented Clarke County as their Junior Miss in 1981 and serving in many capacities since that time.
“We’re looking forward to her jokes and wit as she always has it in abundance!” stated Program Coordinator Mona Odom.
