Jed Kasselman has been named Enterprise High School’s STAR Student for the 2022-2023 school year by the Mississippi Economic Council (MEC) M. B. Swayze Foundation, sponsor of the Student Teacher Achievement Recognition (STAR) program. Established by the Mississippi Economic Council in 1965, the purpose of the STAR program is to recognize outstanding students and teachers in Mississippi through its Education Celebration.
Each STAR Student is asked to designate a STAR Teacher, the teacher who has made the greatest contribution to the student’s scholastic achievement. Jed has selected Mr. Steven Womack as his STAR Teacher.
Jed Quin Kasselman is the son of Dr. Jennifer and Mr. Heath Kasselman. He is a member of the Senior Beta Club, National Honor Society, and Future Business Leaders of America. Jed will be attending the University of Southern Mississippi where he will major in Polymer Science and Engineering.
