Funeral services for Ernestine Maloy Killian will be held Thursday, June 16, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. at Pine Hill Baptist Church, with burial following in the church cemetery. Rev. Jerry Griffin and Bro. Jack Kern will be officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the church.
Mrs. Killian, age 85, of Enterprise, MS, passed away June 11, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Ernestine was a faithful wife, mother and grandmother with unshakeable faith and unconditional love. She poured her love over her family and friends and always had time for the ones sent to her. Ernestine spent her last days at home, bathed in love. She was a precious soul whom the world was not worthy of. She was looking for a city with eternal foundations, a city designed and built by God, and God opened the gates of Heaven for her to enter into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Ernestine is survived by her children, Vicki (Steve) Owens, of Pensacola, FL, Laura (Jerry) Griffin, of Enterprise, MS, and Gina (Todd) Sayers, of Lauderdale, MS; grandchildren, Shannon (Melinda) Brown, Heather (Nathan) Yates, Maloy (Aaron) Ashley, Jonathan (Abby) Killian, Sara Grace (Walter) Alexander, Joshua (Macy) Robinson, Logan Sayers, Alanna Sayers and Mary Lyn Sayers; along with nine great grandchildren; brother, Thomas Nolen of Madison, MS; sisters, Christine May and Lucy Jones, both of Stewart, MS.
She was preceded in death by her loving and faithful husband of sixty-three years, Rev. Claude Franklin Killian; her parents; and her infant sister, Mary Lyn Nolen.
Pallbearers will be Shannon Brown, Jonathan Killian, Logan Sayers, Joshua Robinson, Steve Owens and Todd Sayers. Honorary pallbearers will be Mason Brown and Bro. Nathan Yates.
Burial will take place in the Pine Hill Church Cemetery.
