Eugene "Huey" Lee, 89, of Quitman, Mississippi, passed away on June 2, 2025, at his residence.
He was born on August 31, 1935, to Robert and Lena (Mozingo) Lee in Wayne County, MS.
Huey was a longtime member at Rolling Creek Baptist Church. He worked all of his life as an automobile mechanic.
Huey is survived by several nieces and nephews; three grandchildren, Jennifer Ruiz, Jackki Huttoe, and Jamie Nolan; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert E. Lee; mother, Lena Lee; first wife, Joan Lee; second wife, Mary Lee; son, Davy Joe Lee; daughter, Delilia Lee Sides; granddaughter, Darcee Joanna Cushing; four brothers, Robert Henry Lee, William Edward Lee, Velpo "J. C." Lee, and MacIlwain Lee; and his sister, Ruby Mazingo.
Visitation will be held Friday, June 6, 2025, 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Rolling Creek Baptist Church, Quitman, Mississippi.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025, 11:00 a.m. at Rolling Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Richard Coats, Rev. Troy Dew, and Chris Dew officiating.
Burial will take place in the Rolling Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
