On November 14, 2020, around 400 students auditioned for a place in the prestigious Mississippi All State Lions Band. Around 305 of those students were invited back to the second round of auditions that took place on November 21, and approximately 148 students were given the honor of being selected to the 2021 MS Lions All-State Band.
