Town of Stonewall Receives New Sign Made by Jones Students

Some of Stonewall’s history was revived on Monday as Jones College attached a newly made archway to the historic Stonewall columns. The college was thrilled to be able to help the Stonewall Historical Society out by creating the sign and installing it.

Tribune staff wins eleven awards

The Clarke County Tribune walked away with 11 editorial awards Saturday, June 25, 2022, during the joint 2022 Mississippi, Arkansas and Tennessee Press Conference and Better Newspaper Contest in Memphis, TN.
The contest was judged by volunteers from the South Carolina Association.

MS Lions Band named International Champions

Congratulations, Adrian Roberts, George Volking, Director Charlie Sorto and Jessica Manning! We are Clarke County proud! The 2022 MS Lions All-State Band are the International Champions! Adrian, George and Jessica, along with Charlie, traveled with the band to Montreal, Canada. Congratulations on placing first in competition.
