Mr. and Mrs. Scott McLeod of Meridian, MS, announce the marriage of their daughter, Ashley Renee McLeod to Brent Lamar Rivers, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Rivers of Meridian.
Ms. McLeod is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Hankins of Quitman, MS, and Mr. and Mrs. Layton McLeod of Bailey, MS.
The bride elect is a 2018 graduate of Clarkdale High School and is currently enrolled at Mississippi State University where she is expected to graduate in May of 2022 with a BSIS degree. Ashley is employed at Meridian Eye Care.
Mr. Rivers is the grandson of Mr. Curtis Cullum of Meridian, and the late Mrs. Sara Cullum, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lamar Rivers.
The groom elect is a 2017 graduate of Southeast Lauderdale High School and a 2021 graduate from Mississippi State University with a Bachelors of Business Administration Degree. Brent is currently employed at Citizens National Bank in Meridian.
The couple will exchange vows at 5:00 p.m. on the evening of January 8, 2022, at Rolling Creek Baptist Church, 1650 CR 345, Quitman, MS 39355, with a reception immediately following in the RCBC Family Life Center.
