A familiar face at Terral Insurance Agency will no longer be there after Wednesday, February 23.
After almost 52 years of service with the agency, Judy Evans has decided the time has come to retire. She values all the friends she has made over the years of working there.
“I began working at Terral Insurance Agency in 1970, fifty-one years and eight months ago exactly,” recalled Judy. “I have seen so many changes in the industry over the years and have always striven to do my best to take care of all of our customers. Throughout the years, I have had the most pleasure meeting many people from all walks of life. Many of those acquaintances have turned into life-long friends.”
While she loves her job and everyone she has been able to serve over the years, circumstances have caused her to decide that it is time for her to retire.
“Over the past few years, it has become more evident that life can change in an instant,” explained Judy. “After my own personal health scare last fall, I finally decided it was time to retire so that another journey could begin.”
She plans to enjoy her life and spend more time with those she loves.
“Of course, I plan to spend more time with my family and visiting with friends, near and far,” declared Judy. “Visiting some of my oldest friends that are homebound or in nursing homes will also be a priority.”
The change is bittersweet for her, and she will always love her work family and Main Street families.
“I will always treasure the years I spent at Terral and will always consider the Davis family as part of my own,” proclaimed Judy.
