The Friends of Clarkco State Park Car Show will take place on February 25, 2023.
“It’s just a fun thing to do at the park. A lot of people were coming and asking Toney why we don’t do a car show, so we decided we will do it,” explained Marsha Roberts with Friends of Clarkco. “Any cars that want to register and get in it can do that. We didn’t put an age limit on the cars or anything.”
There is a $20 registration fee. Cars, trucks, jeeps, and motorcycles can begin registering at 9:00 a.m.
Non-food vendors are also able to participate in the event if they would like.
“If you are a merchandising vendor and selling items that are not food items, then you can call the park and set up to have a booth if you want to,” continued Marsha. “The park charges $35 for vendors to set up on the premises.”
At 10:00 a.m., live music will be provided by Stephen Hennington and Gravel Road Prophets.
There will be participant judging, so whoever registers with a car will get to pick out their favorite cars. Judging is due at noon, and awards will be presented at 2:00 p.m.
Hamburgers, sausage dogs, and other concessions will be sold by Friends of Clarkco. For more information, call 601-480-5255 or 601-776-6651.
