A very sweet God loving mama, wife, daughter, family member, and friend to many needs our help. This Saturday, June 4, 2022, at the Quitman baseball complex, there will be a benefit for Tiffany Whiddon who has been diagnosed with liver and pancreatic cancer. She is currently receiving experimental treatments at Oschner’s in New Orleans. She has an uphill battle to fight, and as many of you know, insurance does not take care of all the costs involved. So prayers, friends, and financial support are needed.
Tickets are still available for the HOWA M1500 .223 bolt action rifle (1 ticket for $5.00, 5 tickets for $20); drawing for the rifle is July 3, 2022.
On June 4th there will be a co-ed softball tournament to begin at 8:00 a.m. Saturday. There will be vendors for shopping, jumpy houses, singing, and at 2:00 p.m., an auction with Auctioneer Steve Neely you do not want to miss. You may view items currently on hand for auction on Melissa Grayson Hiatt’s Facebook page.
Concession stand will offer leg quarter chicken plates with baked beans, potato salad, roll, and drink for $10.00; a hamburger plate with chips and drink for $8.00; and a hot dog plate with chips and drink for $6.00. Drinks and water will be sold for $1.00.
Please come out and support Tiffany and her family.
