Gerald Harmon Sanders, 73, of Enterprise, Mississippi, passed away on January 19, 2026, at his residence.
He was born on January 30, 1952, to Harmon and Nina (Williams) Sanders in Clarke County, MS.
Gerald was a longtime member of Souenlovie Baptist Church, where he also served as a deacon at the church.
Gerald is survived by his wife, Marie Davis Sanders; three sisters, Betty Sanders Touchstone, Denise Sanders (Hilton) Davis, Karen (Richard) Benefield; two brothers, Tommy (Johnnie Ruth) Sanders and Skeet Sanders; and numerous special nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harmon Dewey Sanders, and mother, Nina Bell Sanders.
Visitation was held Wednesday, January 21, 2026, 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Souenlovie Baptist Church, Enterprise, Mississippi.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, 12:00 p.m. at the Souenlovie Baptist Church with Dr. Scott Crenshaw and Rev. Corey Vermilyea officiating.
Burial took place in the Souenlovie Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Daniel Benefield, Richard Benefield, David Sanders, Tim Elkins, Roger Mercer, Richard Touchstone and David King. Honorary Pallbearers were Bucket List Coffee Club, Skidmore's Breakfast Bunch and Mickey Long.
