Get ready for a great time this weekend because Clarke Fest is officially here! You are in for a two-day treat where you can enjoy amazing entertainment, food, shopping, fun and games, and beautiful vehicles.
Beginning Friday night, September 26, out at Archusa Water Park, we will KICK-OFF CLARKE FEST with a party featuring from Charleston, Mississippi, an all family band that does Southern Rock, classic and new country. S.L.A.S.H is made up of Joseph, Kelvin, Kizer, Steve, and Roger and are sure to keep the park rocking and everyone singing along.
Following S.L.A.S.H, a hometown boy who stepped out on faith and followed his dream will take the stage and will blow you away! Jagger Whitaker is coming home to headline this party, and he and his band promise to give us a concert that's out of this world. Joining Jagger on stage will be our own Billy Rascoe from Stonewall to do a few numbers together. Jagger states he used to watch Billy on stage and wanted so bad to do what he was doing. Today, Jagger has fulfilled his dream in Nashville, Tennessee.
You don’t want to miss this concert. Tickets are on sale this week at the Chamber office at City Hall in Quitman or at the gate Friday night for $20.00 per person. Parking is $5.00 per car, and you will be given an armband that will get you in Saturday for free parking all day. Food trucks and drinks will be available in the park both days for both events. No alcoholic beverages are allowed at this event.

The Hayden Alabama Podcast will be back with us this year and will take the stage twice during the day. Phillip and Shane are proud to have with them Brother Robin from Philadelphia, Mississippi. Bro. Robin is a pastor and brings his own brand of funny to the Southern Storytellers podcast. If you haven't seen this podcast, now is a good time to go to YouTube and look it up. Phillip Bremmerman is a Baptist preacher from Hayden, Alabama, and Shane Thomas is a deacon who also is a contractor in Hayden. These two best friends got together and came up with the podcast of clean, funny storytelling, and it has grown beyond their own dreams now with a following of just shy of 90,000 people.
Coming with the guys from Hayden is Christian and Comedian Trent Ellis from YouTube fame. Trent is a mess, and you don’t want to miss his time on stage. You know he must be amazing with over 246,000 followers.
Along with enjoying the live entertainment, visitors can enjoy looking at a variety of gorgeous vehicles ranging from classics to modern beauties at this year’s Annual Car Show.
