Great Southern Bank announces the promotion of David Monsour to Senior Vice President and Manager of the bank’s Clarke County offices. The announcement is according to Steven Cooksey, President and Chief Executive Officer.
Monsour, a native of Meridian, graduated from Meridian High School and Meridian Community College. Monsour joined Central Financial Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of Great Southern Bank, in 1988 as a manager. While with CFS, Monsour also served as a district manager and President of the corporation. Monsour, and his wife, Linda, have two children, Kristin Cowan (Charles) and Kayla Vanzandt (Spencer). They are members of New Hope Baptist Church.
Great Southern Bank was founded in 1902, holds assets totaling $362 million and has over 100 employees operating 11 retail banking locations in Meridian, Decatur, Quitman, Enterprise, Waynesboro and Hattiesburg.
