Henrietta Crowell Miller, 92, of Quitman, Mississippi, passed away on March 11, 2025, at her residence.
She was born on September 25, 1932, to Robert and Annie (Longest) Crowell in Pontotoc, MS.
Henrietta was a member of Harmony Baptist Church. She served at Fayette Baptist Church as a pianist, Sunday school teacher and WMU director. She worked for many years as a teacher and home economist, and she was a home demonstration agent.
Henrietta is survived by her husband, Herbert G. Miller; two sons, Steve (Donna) Miller and Mark (Michelle) Miller; two daughters, Susan (David) McDonald and Sharon (Jim) Sanders; eight grandchildren, Christy (Lee) Lenahan, Darla (Alex ) McDonald, Jessica (Eligh) Davis, Sam (Meghan) McDonald, Jr., Sarah Miller, Adam Miller, Scott Miller, and Jared (Natalie) Bruegger; five great-grandchildren, Max Dean, Leo Dean, Rylan Saterkowski, Penelope Elwood, and Evangeline Lenahan; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Annie Crowell; great-granddaughter, Haley Dean; brother, Robert Crowell; and three sisters, Coralyn Martin, Roberta Taylor, and Betty Shelby.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 14, 2025, 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. at Harmony Baptist Church, Quitman, Mississippi.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 14, 2025, 10:00 a.m. at Harmony Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Irby officiating.
Graveside Services and Interment will take place in the Cane Ridge Cemetery in Lorman, MS, on Friday, March 14, 2025, at 3:30 p.m.
