A high speed chase started on County Road 350 and Highway 514 at around 11:15 p.m. on April 10.
“Deputies tried to initiate a traffic stop, and he ran from the deputies,” explained Chief Deputy Barry White.
Deputies pursued the suspect at a very high rate of speed for about 16 miles before the chase ended on Hillcrest Drive in Lauderdale County. Lauderdale and Clarke County deputies were then able to take the suspect, Bobby Dean, into custody.
“He is being charged with felony fleeing and possession of meth, as well as several misdemeanors,” informed White. “He was also wanted in Neshoba County.”
