Danny is a life-long resident of Clarke County, Mississippi, growing up on the west side of the county in the Pleasant Grove Community. Mr. West graduated from Clarke Academy in 1980. He attended Mississippi State University receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in 1984. Later, Mr. West continued his education, attending MSU-Meridian, receiving his master’s degree in 2003. Having taught for 31-years in public and private schools within Mississippi, Mr. West has a keen interest in history and loves to share his research on various historical subjects.
