Holiday Closures and Garbage Pickup

With the Christmas Holidays approaching, the following changes will be made for Clarke County and its municipalities:

• Quitman: City Hall will close at noon on December 23 and will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. City wide garbage pickup will be on Thursday, December 26.

• Enterprise: Town Hall will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

• Stonewall: Town Hall will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. There will be no garbage pickup on Christmas Day. Garbage will be collected on Thursday, December 26, and all cans need to be at curbside for pickup by 6:00 a.m.

• Pachuta: Town Hall will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. There will be no garbage pickup on Christmas Day. Garbage will be collected on Thursday, December 26.

• Shubuta: Town Hall will close at noon on December 23 and will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

• County: The Clarke County Courthouse will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The county will not collect garbage on Christmas Day. Instead, it will run a day late for only that particular week. December 25 garbage will be picked up on Thursday, December 26. December 26 garbage will be picked up on Friday, December 27. December 27 garbage will be picked up on Saturday, December 28.
