Imogene Grant, 97, of Quitman, Mississippi, passed away on August 24, 2026, at her residence.
She was born on September 16, 1928, to Aozie and Lila (Fletcher) Jones in Granbury, TX.
Imogene is survived by her sons, Jimmy Lee (Lydia Joan) Grant and Richard G. (Allison) Grant; sister, Sue Reed; 10 grandchildren, Rob, Bryan, Jessie, Amy, Kelly, Ashley, Joey, Tory, Trevor, and Tyler; 15 great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Aozie Olen Jones; mother, Lila Tressie Jones; husband, Harley Grant; son, Gary Wayne Grant; great-granddaughter, Makayla Maggard; and brothers, Hood Jones and Pete Jones.
Visitation will be held Thursday, August 27, 2026, 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2026, 2:00 p.m. at the Lake Park Cemetery in Laurel, Mississippi.
Burial will take place in the Lake Park Cemetery.
