Janet Anderson Boykin, 67, of Quitman, Mississippi, passed away on October 4, 2025, at H. C. Watkins Hospital in Quitman, MS.
She was born on December 18, 1957, to Robert and Sarah (Long) Anderson in Crestview, FL.
Janet was a beloved member of Antioch Baptist Church of Quitman, MS. She enjoyed spending time outdoors working with her flowers. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to all that knew her.
Janet is survived by her son, Shane (Micah) Diamond; two grandchildren, Bentley Diamond and Brece Diamond; two sisters, Barbara (Ronnie) Johnson and Connie Crist; brother, Robert "Butch" Anderson; and several nieces, nephews and extended family member.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Earl Anderson; mother, Sarah Earlene Faircloth; husband, Arnold Hamilton Boykin; and her sister, Regina Milstead.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 8, 2025, 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, 2:00 p.m. at the Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. William Chancellor officiating.
Burial will take place in the Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
