As a lifelong resident and business owner in Quitman, I am honored and excited to announce my candidacy for Alderman Ward 3 of Quitman.
My roots are very deep in this community, born and raised here, along with my wife, the former Judy Sellers, who was born and raised here as well. We care about the future of Quitman!
I graduated from the Quitman School District when the high school was named Zack Huggins High, then attended Jones Junior College after which I graduated from The University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology.
For the past thirty two years I have owned and operated Lakeview Quik Wash, where I have met many of you and had numerous opportunities to discuss our town with you. But most of you in Ward 3 know me anyway simply because I’ve been a Quitman resident for so long.
My desire as your alderman is to have a positive impact on every facet of each issue and need that Quitman is tasked with in its municipal governance, to use Godly wisdom and common sense and experience, and to be a good steward of our resources and finances.
I respectfully ask for your vote in the June 3rd general election. I appreciate your support and influence.
