Juanita Gary Peavy, 91, of Quitman, Mississippi, passed away on August 29, 2025, at her residence.
She was born on July 18, 1934, to Rufus and Sadie (Redding) Gary in Newton, MS.
Juanita is survived by her daughter, Penny Peavy; grandson, Brad (Jennifer) Smith; granddaughter, Brittany (Nathan) Fauk; sister, Glenda (Jimmy) Bounds; great-granddaughters, Haley Fauk, Casey-Jo Fauk, and Sarah Smith; and great-grandsons, Jackson Fauk and Thomas (Mystina) Teevan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby E Peavy; father, Rufus Gary; mother, Sadie Gary; and sister, Edith Wall.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at the Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with James Spencer officiating.
Burial will take place in the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
