Mr. Larry Gill Pearson, 79, passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at his home in Neshoba County where he lived most of his life.
He was known as “The Carpet Man” and worked many years selling carpet. He was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church, and his hobbies were traveling, watching westerns, and antique cars. He also enjoyed cooking biscuits and cornbread.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John Ansel and Clara Sharp Pearson, and twin infant brothers.
Survivors include his wife, Alice Pearson of Union; daughter, Gina Pearson of Homewood, AL; son, Scott Pearson of Madison; stepdaughters, Shea Atkinson (Jeremy) of Coffeeville, MS, Amy McArthur (Jay) of Madison, Angie Ledbetter (Chip) of Quitman; granddaughter, Ava Hines; grandson, Dawson Tyler Pearson; step granddaughter, Allie Klair Ledbetter; step grandsons, Jace McArthur (Ariel), Cadden McArthur, Kade Ledbetter (Talley); and step great grandson, Karson Ledbetter.
Funeral services took place on September 27, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at John E. Stephens Chapel with Rev. Len Wedgeworth officiating.
Burial took place at Beatline Baptist Cemetery.
Pallbearers included Rex Savell, Kevin Belk, Chip Ledbetter, Tony Warren, Randall Saxon, and Matthew Warren.
