My name is Reginald DeAndra. I’m proud to announce to the world something that’s an important part of who I am. I come from a rich lineage/culture rooted in American Indian cultural/Choctaw background, from the food we cook to the inventions that we have created that shaped my values, traditions, and the way I see the world.
For me, my ancestors fought for me to have the freedoms I have today. It’s more than just a custom—it’s a reminder of the resilience, creativity, traditions, and unity that my historical community carries to this day.
My identity is not just about who I am and where I come from but about the values of the American Indian culture. I’m honored to celebrate my roots and ancestors, the real indigenous people of America.
I believe that sharing my stories in hope to open the doors for understanding and respect of my people. I stand alongside the real indigenous Choctaw family.
