Greetings to all who read this in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
As many of us have watched the news this past week, my heat sunk as I heard of the five police officers who were killed and wounded at Dallas as well as the wounded in the line of duty. Then I hear about three officers who were shot and killed. I pray to God that he will comfort these families and children. When a police, sheriff or highway patrol is killed, it is a great loss, not only to the families but also to all citizens of the U.S.
I pray and hope that such as tragic as these at Dallas and Baton Rouge are, they will never come to Clarke County.
I truly want to commend our law enforcement for their faithful service and duty to the citizens here in Clarke County. To all of you, I am grateful. God bless all of you.
