We’d like to express our sincere gratitude to Fire coordinator Eddie Ivy and District 4 Supervisor Paul Mosley for all their work securing and customizing our new tanker. Thanks also to the Clarke County Board of Supervisors for disbursing the necessary funds.
The truck’s front, side and rear spray nozzles significantly improve our capability to and extinguish roadside fires, which is especially important considering our proximity to Highway 45, and the 2500-gallon tank gives us water-shuttle ability to support other fire departments in the area.
Thanks again to Eddie Ivy, Paul Mosley, and the Clarke County Board of Supervisors for all that they do, have done, and will continue to do for Clarke County.
