Linda Joanne Schrimpshire, 78, of Petal died February 8, 2025, at her home.
Mrs. Schrimpshire was born on July 10, 1946, and was a retired secretary and attend Eastabuchie Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing and planting flowers.
She is survived by one daughter, Jolynn Schrimpshire (Bobby Brady) of Petal; a won, Richard W. Schrimpshire, Jr. (Angie) of Petal; a brother, Ronald Wright (Brenda) of Quitman; six grandchildren, Evan Warden of Petal, Terra Chitwood (Ryan James) of Petal, Colby Warden (Angie Herbert) of Seminary, Katlyn Johnson (Austin) of Williston, MD, Shelby Montgomery (Casey) of Laurel, and Kadyn Schrimpshire of Williston, ND; ten great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lenard Montgomery and Josie Virgina Wright; her husband, Richard W. Schrimpshire, Sr.; and a grandson, Justin Alton Warden.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at Moore Funeral Home in Petal from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Services were held on Friday, February 14, 2025, at Moore Funeral Chapel in Petal at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. George Jenkins officiating, followed by burial in Seminary Municipal Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Michael Schrimpshire, Steven Schrimpshire, Ryan James, Casey Montgomery, Eddie Draughn, Don Burch, Micah Dykes, and Chad Hillman.
