Allie Heathcock recently signed to continue her volleyball career at Southwest Mississippi Community College.
Although she has only played volleyball at Enterprise as pin hitter for four years, she has plenty of experience with the sport.
“I’ve played volleyball for four years at Enterprise High School, and I’ve also played QCA, which is a travel team,” declared Allie. “I’ve also played for Matrix in Hattiesburg for a little while.”
Over the years of playing the sport, she’s learned different lessons.
“I’ve learned a lot about growing together as a team,” stated Allie. “It really builds the ability to hold a good set. If you have a good foundation and good family and team, it just makes the game a lot more fun. The wins are able to be celebrated, and the losses are a lot easier to handle.”
Along with playing volleyball, she knows what she would like to do in the future.
“I’m going to get my medical degree,” informed Allie. “I’m not sure what for. I’m thinking about CRNA.”
Head Coach Faith Guy is proud of Allie and her accomplishments.
“Allie’s personality and love for the game are contagious,” proclaimed Guy. “As a captain, Allie helped lead several teammates and motivated everyone around her. The Bulldog volleyball team is extremely proud of her and cannot wait to continue to support her at the next level.”
With her determination, she is sure to achieve all the goals she places for herself in the future.
