Alice Oglesby, 90, of Shubuta, Mississippi, passed away on November 8, 2024, at her residence.
She was born on September 24, 1934, to Edward and Annie Harper in Meridian, MS.
Alice was a long-time member of Stonewall Methodist Church. She loved to go camping with friends and traveling. She also enjoyed cooking and taking care of her family.
Alice is survived by her son, Tim (Jo) Oglesby; daughters, Beverly Core, and Tammy (Bruce) Martin; granddaughters, Allison (Scott) Moseley, Adrienne (Josh) Smith, Lindsey (Josh) Graham, Emily (Michael) Holifield; and 10 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Josh Graham, Josh Smith, Michael Holifield, and Scott Moseley. Honorary pallbearers include Everett Moseley and Liam Moseley.
Alice was preceded in death by her father, Edward Harper; mother, Annie Bell Harper; husband, James Oglesby; and son, Steve Oglesby.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, 11:00 a.m. at the Stonewall Cemetery with Rev. Ray Files officiating.
Burial will take place in the Stonewall Cemetery.
