Alton Lamar Beckman, 53, of Quitman, Mississippi passed away on December 28, 2021, at his residence.
He was born on May 29, 1968, to Larry and Sharon (Tuttle) Beckman in Waynesboro, MS.
Alton worked and enjoyed serving the people as a Police Officer for the City of Quitman.
Alton is survived by his wife, Tracy R. Beckman; son, Josh L. (Sydney Herrington) Beckman; brother, Randall (Amy) Beckman; sister, Renee (James) Koontz, and several nieces.
He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Hugh Beckman; mother, Sharon Ann Beckman; son, Daniel Hugh Beckman; maternal grandfather, Howard Tuttle; maternal grandmother, Laverne Day Tuttle; paternal grandfather, John Elmer Beckman; and paternal grandmother, Annie Broadway Beckman.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at the Montrose Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Matthew Johnson and Rev. Kevin McDonald officiating.
Burial will take place in the Montrose Cemetery.
