Billy Wayne Smith, 84, of Quitman, Mississippi, passed away on February 8, 2024, at Diversicare of Quitman.
He was born on August 5, 1939, to Tom and Ora (Slayton) Smith.
Billy is survived by his sons, Michael (Joe Ann) Smith and Tim Smith; six grandchildren, Britney (Thomas) Williams, Lacie (Michael) Smith, Ashley (Jessie) Fairchild, Alana Smith, Blake (Ashley) Jones and Kyle Jones; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Tom Smith; mother, Ora Bell Smith; wife, Edelene Allen Smith; daughters, Angie Jones and Janet Marie Andrews; and son, Bruce Smith.
Graveside services were held on Friday, February 9, 2024, 2:00 p.m. at the East Quitman Assembly of God Church Cemetery with J. C. Dearman officiating.
Burial took place in the East Quitman Assembly of God.
