Chloe Nichole Shelton, 21, of Quitman, Mississippi, passed away on December 1, 2024, at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.
She was born on February 12, 2003, to Billy Joe and Angie (Long) Shelton in Meridian, MS.
Chloe spent a large portion of her life at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, where she was a member of the "St. Jude Family" and was loved by all of her doctors, nurses, and staff.
Chloe is survived by her mother, Angie Long Shelton; father, Billy Joe (Lucy) Shelton, Sr.; four brothers, Micah Long, Malachi Long, Joe (Lisa) Shelton, and Dusty (Shelby) Shelton; three step-brothers; maternal grandfather, Mickey Long; maternal grandmother, Angie Denise (Hilton) Davis; paternal grandparents, Charlie and Callie Shelton; two aunts, Brandie (Trey) Cooper and Regina (Carl) Bynum; uncle, Chris (Rebecca) Davis; four special cousins, Zagar Cooper, Aydan Cooper, Britton Davis, and Lillian Davis; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandmother, Scharlene Boykin; maternal great-grandfather, Roger Voss; and maternal great-grandparents, Harmon and Nina Sanders.
Pallbearers are Zagar Cooper, Aydan Cooper, Anthony Loper, Max Loper, Logan Yarber, Britton Davis, Joe Shelton, and Dusty Shelton.
Visitation will be held Saturday, December 7, 2024, 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Souenlovie Baptist Church, Enterprise, Mississippi.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024, 11:00 a.m. at Souenlovie Baptist Church with Dr. Scott Crenshaw officiating.
Burial will take place in the Souenlovie Cemetery.
