Clarence Edward "Petey" McDonald Jr., 65, of Quitman, Mississippi, passed away on December 4, 2023, at Andersons Hospital.
He was born on September 29, 1958, to Clarence and Ruth (Taylor) McDonald in Quitman, MS.
Petey is survived by his wife, Kathy D. McDonald; children, Peter (Becky) McDonald, Matthew McDonald, Angela (Dusty) Hinson, Jona (Bryon) White, Shane Beckham, Justin (Anna) Beckham, Jennifer (Severiano) Alverez, and Memory Lofton; 17 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Linda (Gary) Morgan; brother, Lamar (April) McDonald; and several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Edward "Pete" McDonald; mother, Ruth Virginia "Billie" McDonald; and brother, William Ronald "Ronnie" McDonald.
Visitation was held Saturday, December 9, 2023, 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, December 9, 2023, 1:00 p.m. at the Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tony Chancelor officiating.
Burial took place in the McDonald Family Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Matthew White, Carlos Derrick Alvarez, Hunter White, Jordan Lewis, Keaton Alvarez, Nick McDonald and Zach White.
