Clarence Henry Albritton, 81, of Quitman, Mississippi, passed away on April 11, 2023, at his residence.
He was born on September 18, 1941, to William and Henrietta (Duvall) Albritton in Shubuta, MS.
He was a longtime member of Knight's Valley Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and Sunday school teacher for over 50 years. Clarence had a love for the outdoors, especially turkey hunting, was an avid cyclist, Los Angeles Dodgers fan, and enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Clarence is survived by wife, Rebecca S. Albritton; three daughters, Alisa A. (John) Perry, Stacey R. (Daniel) Crump, and Lauren H. (William) Busby; four grandchildren, William Byron (Lydia) Kemp, Robert B. Perry, Danielle R. (Ryan) White, and Dalton L. Crump; seven great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Dearman, Laila Busby, Jaxton Busby, Ava Grace Kemp, Mary Margaret Kemp, Rylan White, and Emma Renee White; three brothers, Joseph Michael (Priscilla) Albritton, Thomas Daniel (Peggy) Albritton, and David "Pete" Lamar (Shelly) Albritton; and two sisters, Carolyn Slay and Mary Jane (Troy) Donahoe
He was preceded in death by his father, William Arthur Albritton, Sr.; mother, Henrietta Duvall Albritton; and two brothers, William A. (Red) Albritton, Jr. and Novel Albritton.
Graveside services were held on Friday, April 14, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at the Oak Ridge Cemetery with Rev. Gary Davis, Rev. Tyrone Wells, and Rev. Troy Donahoe officiating.
Burial took place in the Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Byron Kemp, Dalton Crump, Ben Perry, Pete Albritton, Danny Albritton and Joe Albritton.
