Doris Massingale, 96, of Quitman, Mississippi, passed away on September 10, 2024, at her residence.
She was born on October 13, 1927, to Joseph and Eula (Chancellor) Martin in Hiwannee, MS.
She was a graduate of Mendenhall High School. Doris was a career secretary, retiring from Monsanto, Corp. in Pensacola, Florida.
She was a member of East Hill Baptist Church in Pensacola, FL, and First Baptist Church in Quitman, MS.
Doris is survived by her daughter, Kathy Massingale, and son, Joe Massingale, III.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Eula Martin; husband, Joe Massingale, Jr.; two brothers, Lawrence Martin and J. D. Martin, Jr.; and two sisters, Helen Elizabeth Barry and Jean Sanderford.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, September 13, 2024, 10:00 a.m. at the Odd Fellows Cemetery with Rev. Dennis Kennedy officiating.
Burial will take place in the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
