Gayle Todd Francis, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, ran into the arms of her adored Savior Jesus on Saturday night, July 6, 2024. She took her last breath on Earth surrounded by the love of her family. The 76 years of her life were a testimony to all she met that Heaven is real, Jesus is coming back, and the work of the cross is more than enough to change any life. She traveled the globe, living on multiple continents and influencing thousands with her faith, her love of the Scriptures, and her passion for worship music.
We, her family-her devoted husband, Ralph; son, Darron Francis and his wife, Becky; daughter, Chrystal Peery and her husband, Jim; grandchildren Gabriel, Ethan, Isaiah, Tirzah, Caleb, Salem, Zadok, and Joanna; and siblings Allen (and Judith) Todd, Lynn (and Patsy) Todd, Joan (and Greg) Manley, LaDawn (and Garry) Bryant, Felecia (and Tommy) Fitzgerald, and their families-grieve at the empty place she left behind; however, we turn with eager anticipation to the day when faith shall be sight and our reunion takes place in eternity. Though releasing her to Jesus was not what any of us wanted, we thank Him for the gift of her life, we strive to walk in her legacy of faith, and we continue to say with the confidence of Daniel 3:18, “But if not, He is still good.”
