Glenda Ann Graham, 88, of Quitman, Mississippi, passed away on April 15, 2024, at her residence.
She was born on May 6,1935, to Glynn and Margaret (Mashburn) Adams in Quitman, MS.
Glenda was a longtime member of Elim Baptist Church where she served in many roles. She was a devoted Christian who lived her life by the Golden Rule. She spent many hours in the kitchen cooking and serving her family, friends, and community for many years. She was a loving mother, granny, and friend to all who knew her.
Glenda is survived by her daughter, Beth Fleming (Kelly) Wright; four grandsons, Adam (Jana) Fleming, Chase (Crystal) Fleming, Josh (Lindsey) Graham, Andrew (Leah) Graham; four great-grandchildren, Sadie Fleming, Miles Fleming, Clay Graham, Ford Graham; sisters, Peggy Pearson, Mary (Chuck) Sanders; brother, Bill (Sheila) Adams; daughter-in-law, Taunya Graham (Steve) Whaley; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her father, Glynn Adams; mother, Margaret Adams; husband, Russell Graham; son, Gary Graham; sister, Nancy Adams Johnston; and son-in-law, Randy Fleming.
Pallbearers are Adam Fleming, Chase Fleming, Josh Graham, Andrew Graham, Bill Adams, and Greg Adams.
Visitation will be held Thursday, April 18, 2024, 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2024, 12:00 p.m. at the Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tony Volking officiating.
Burial will take place in the Elim Baptist Church Cemetery.
