Glenda Ann Reynolds Bennett, 80, of Pachuta, Mississippi, passed away on April 25, 2024, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
She was born on February 29, 1944, to Alex and Rutha (Lewis) Reynolds in Rose Hill, MS.
Glenda served on the Board of Aldermen for the Village of Pachuta for many years. She was a longtime member and wife of the pastor of Pachuta Baptist Church. She worked all of her adult life in the banking industry.
Glenda is survived by her husband, Howard Bennett; daughter, Alisa Ann McCoy (Dwaine) Bennett; three grandchildren, Lauren M. (Ryan) Storey, Ashlee N. Bennett, and Justin (Sydni) McCoy; six great-grandchildren, Amelia Crowell, Marshall Storey, Elliott Storey, Mason Whitaker, Averleigh Grace McCoy, and Brookley McCoy; step-son, David Hugh Bennett; two step-grandchildren, Rocky Bennett and Jennifer Bennett; and four step-great-grandchildren, Chelsey Bennett, Talon Bennett, Blaise Sandoval, and Corbin Sandoval
She was preceded in death by her father, Alex Alexander Reynolds; mother, Rutha Margaret Reynolds; son, Kevin Markham McCoy; granddaughter, Jessica Brooke McCoy; and her brother, Alex "Buddy" Reynolds, Jr.
Visitation was held Sunday, April 28, 2024, 1:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. at Phalti Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, April 28, 2024, 3:00 p.m. at Phalti Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Bogan and Rev. Jason Castle officiating.
Burial took place in the Phalti Cemetery.
