Henry H. "Buddy" Flowers, Jr., 86, of Quitman, Mississippi, passed away on October 11, 2024, at his residence.
He was born on December 12, 1937, to Henry and Dolly (Wright) Flowers in Kosciusko, MS.
Buddy is survived by his two daughters, Martha Kaye Murff and Carolyn Ann (David) Snowden; three grandchildren, Lindsay M. (Ryan) Hinton, Kenny W. (Taylor) Murff, and Jessica A. (Austin) Touchstone; three great-grandchildren, Sadie Touchstone, Riggens Hinton, and Mattie Hinton; sister, Catherine Simmons; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Homer Flowers, Sr.; mother, Dolly Ava Flowers; wife, Doris Flowers; and two sisters, Wilma Edwards and Merle Fagan Bouvier.
Pallbearers were Gerald Murff, Kenny Murff, Ryan Hinton, Austin Touchstone, Robert Hicks, and Jason Hicks.
Visitation was held Sunday, October 13, 2024, 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, October 13, 2024, 2:00 p.m. at the Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jason Castle and Rev. Gary Morris officiating.
Burial took place in the Crossroads Church Cemetery.
